PHYSICIANS/PROVIDERS

Access Health Adams County is currently recruiting physicians to see patients. Joining is simple. Just call us at 217.277.5560.

Current providers in the Physician Led Access Network include: Community Outreach Clinic, Clinical Radiologists, S.C., Blessing Hospital, and over 200 physicians.  There are benefits to participating: 

• Doctors already provide charity care.  However, since there is no system for providing support services for the patients, the doctor often feels frustrated and views the care provided as being inefficient and ineffective.  Labs, x-rays, and medications are not available and patients may not come in for regular care since they cannot be compliant with the treatment plans.  Access Health's care management function provides a coordinated and efficient way of providing that care.  This will promote a successful patient. 
• If all physicians participate, no one doctor is overwhelmed with patients.  Patients are equitably distributed in the community. 
• Physicians decide how many Access Health patients they will incorporate into their practice. 
• PLAN offers physicians the opportunity to lead their community to improve the healthcare access crisis.
• Physicians can set the standard to encourage other providers to volunteer.
• Only the physicians, their staff, and the patients are aware of the charity care being provided.  Access Health tracks this care and reports it to the community.
